This was a real disappointment. We went after reading such glowing reviews expecting a good experience, but it was poor from the first interaction. When we approached the door, three guys with aprons on were congregating and talking to each other and ignoring us. Finally, I asked if we could have dinner and then they acknowledged us, sat us outside. The seats are right on the sidewalk, not a private patio, and the sidewalk is incredibly uneven, I asked to be moved after trying to sit at 45 degrees atilt. The second table was better, but still on very uneven ground. We waited a long time to order and to be served (food took just shy of an hour to come out). My beer was warm, and the food (pasta special with shrimp) was bland and nothing special. The service was mediocre. I would certainly not waste my time going to this place with so many options in Portland.
