Went there for lunch today. Nice little place, hard to find parking. Had the chicken pot pie and it was OK. It wasn’t really a pot pie it was a bowl of pot pie filling with a giant biscuit on top. There was an incredibly strong taste of pepper and almost no taste of chicken. There was plenty of chicken in it you just couldn’t take it for the pepper. The biscuit however was very good. Seems a bit expensive for what you get.
Pretty great breakfast here, but let’s not go too far. Does this place deserve national attention? Probably not. It is good, but l think there are some amazing places out there that maybe deserve that national spotlight more.
Interesting industrial decor based on the area it is located. The coffee was tasty and breakfast nicely flavored with rosemary and sage herbs. For a breakfast with coffee, juice and food the price was reasonable. Definitely enjoy this place with oversized silverware.
Great lunch reasonable prices for grass fed beef..
Great spot with a good menu. They grow their own beef and use in their restaurant. Chicken potpie was fantastic with delicious biscuit on top. Meat loaf sandwich was very hearty and delicious. Small interior but hearty food. Staff is very friendly.
Had an excellent sandwich and the server was very friendly, was there at closing so I was the only one there. Finished it all off with a tasty cherry chocolate cheesecake . That had a good selection of local brews there also!
My breakfast group of 8 women was impressed by the outstanding service and delicious food. They smoke/cure their own salmon in the scramble and their corned and chipped beef. Believe it or not, the chipped beef on toast looked so good, I plan to return and order it. The server happily split orders and even gave us all individual checks without our asking. We have been to many places in Portland and all of us put it as one of our favorites.
