Awesome spot on the edge of industrial wasteland. Living on NW 23rd, I’ve never felt the need to go more than a few blocks for a cup of coffee. But about once a month or more I make the trek (20 blocks) to kobos for a coffee and a study spot. I love their well-lit and quiet sitting area and mochas that actually taste like coffee. If I’ve grabbed a zipcar, I also stop by before hitting 405. It is a surprising little cafe/store in a most random spot.
