Very eclectic decor. The red walls make for a bit of a cavern feel. 3 savory crepes, all good. I had the special of chicken, pesto, basil and Loved it. Wife mushroom and gorgonzola a hit with everyone at the table. 2 sweets for desert, slight fumble with the no nuts request, but replacement out very quickly. Overall a nice place to eat but not sure it is worth a special trip from the west side.
I liked it! I’m notoriously hard to please, but this was my first taste of crepe and I was very tired/hungry when I visited. Bit pricey. Good atmosphere. Get the mushroom crepe.
Nom nom! Good food. Different. I like it.
I Prefer Chez Machin. I thought Le Happy was good, but that Chez Machin on Hawthorne is a much better deal, with better crepes and a much nicer ambiance. Maybe if I hadn’t been to CM I would find this place more appealing… if you live in the NW I recommend, if not, don’t go too out of your way.
Sweet. Been there twice. first time had a drink, second time a sweet crepe. the drink was awesome (pretty strong), and so was the crepe. nice atmosphere. a little crowded, but its worth it. they have games, and cool artwork, and nice staff. make the effort to go here!
Pretty good Crepe joint….. Stopped in here late with my wife after she picked me up from the airport and cross country flight. I was tired and ready to go home after a long week on the road, but Le Happy did it’s job. (no, I am not going to say it.)The crepes were nice and light, much like I have had at well reviewed joints in San Fran. Their toppings/fillings were fresh and seasonal. And most importantly after a long flight and week, they had good drinks.
