Worse BLT Ever!!. I’ve been to this place before and usually bring my clients here for lunch. Last time I was there I had a salad.. Very Tasteful! Today 6/28/13 ate lunch there at 11 am and was extremely disappointed.. At the front of the line I was told by the employees behind the counter that people love the BLT’s here!! So since I love BLT’s thought to give it a try. When the plate was served, I had 3 lil tiny strips of thin bacon with two soggy tomatoes and one piece of lettuce. The first bite was a table spoon of mayo which my bread was drenched in… Very disappointed and was absolutely the worse BLT that I’ve EVER had…….. It was such a shame I didn’t bother complaining… 10 dollars that was not even worth a dime! I should have taking a picture!
Excellent lunch menu. My favorite sandwich is the Reuban., very traditional with a flavorful dressing and I cannot say enought about spinach salad with rasberry vinergette dressing. It is home made and there is nothing else like it. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. It is definately worth going that little bit out-of-the-way for the experience. The decor is open and friendlly with interesting historic photos on all the walls.
