Wine, Games, Conversation, and Excellent Food. Arr’ Place is one of the better restaurants in Newport. The food is excellent, the owners are friendly, and the atmosphere is casual. You will pay more here than McDonald’s, but the food is exponentially better. I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a well cooked, delectable meal. Bring your cash, dinner for two can run $100 – $150 depending on what you drink/order. (Kids are welcome.)

Really Good!. Been coming to.Newport for years and a local told us about this restaurant. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Husband had chipotle steak and I had bacon wrapped meatloaf. Really good food. Try it!

Super Brunch. Four of us ate Sunday brunch here. Two of us from Texas ordered Huevos Rancheros with black bean, they got high marks from southwesterners who are picky about their southwest dishes. Two of us from Washington state had the special omelet with leeks, maitake mushrooms, corn, and bay shrinp with Tillamook extra sharp white cheddar. We both thought it was superb. I am on a special diet and the server, the wife of the husband and wife duo who run the place, said tell me what your diet is and we’ll work something out. Instead of potatoes I got half a plate of grilled vegetables that were the best grilled veggies I’ve ever had. And I’m old. They were local veggies. This is a very comfortable place to dine, and everyone there, including the customers, were friendly. We’d all go back in a New York minute.
