Good safe and consistent food. Nothing to write home about but cheap and good taste. Chowder was good consistency just lacked the savory portion I got elsewhere. Very fast service and a family atmosphere.
Awesome place. Love the clam chowder from here. It’s full of clam and very tasty. Food menu has variety. The ice cream scoop is huge. One scoop is enough for two people. The place is quite busy and a little pricey too. We will go there again.
When we travelled down the Oregon a few years ago, we stopped by Chowder Bowl for some comfort eats. They have the reputation of having the best chowder on the Oregon coast. It was rich, creamy, flavourful and hearty. If you are visiting Oregon, I would definitely recommend giving Chowder Bowl a try. foodgressing.com
The one place you should go if you like clam chowder. This place is the real deal unlike Moe’s, which is for tourists. Nice place to go after a day on the beach as well as it’s less than a minute from the beach.
Awesome chowder! Also had the fish tacos–WAY bigger than expected, but delicious! Service was friendly and quick once seated. However, we had to wait 35 minutes to get in, and that was at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon!
I had the fish tacos and chowder and loved it. We had great service and the food was really good and you get a lot of it. I wanted to lick my bowl the chowder was so delicious! Rich, creamy, and full of big pieces of fresh clams. Don’t miss this place!
Ok but nothing really special. Clam pot wasn’t bad but the chili was so bad it tasted like it came out of a can! If you served that in Texas they’d put the cook in jail!
