The setting for this restaurant is perfect. You have windows looking out at Newport Bay and overlooking the docks where sea lions spar for a place to hangout! I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch of tasty clam chowder and truffle fries. I had a Viognier Wine that was wonderful with my lunch. Our server was efficient and cheerful! I will definitely return to try other dining options.
Newport is a beer town and all of their tap beers are light. Dark beer in a can. Really. Food was good. We only had appetizers. Pan fried oysters were good and the coconut shrimp was well prepared. Not Key West shrimp, but cant expect that in the northwest. Probably should not be on the menu. Service was a bit patronizing. Will come back to try a main course and will amend our review. chilltravelers.com
