I have been visiting my mom here in Newport and traveled here from Ft. Worth, Texas. This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in years. I have lots to choose from the Dallas and Fort Worth area and don’t think I have ever had Alfredo sauce this creamy and rich. From the salad, to the main course, to the garlic bread twists – it was delicious. Definitely would recommend this to anyone visiting Newport.As far as waiting on the food, it’s because it is cooked fresh for your order. Definitely worth the 15 minute wait! THANK YOU Cobblestone for excellent service and food!

Got a large Hawaiian pizza for 19 some odd bucks. Saw them hand tossing the dough in the back. It came out in probably 10 minutes. I got it to go, and it was HEAVY! And loaded with toppings. The crust was thick and chewy, imo very good! Lots of cheese and the sauce was the best part. It had a good punch to it with lots of oregano.
Good. The first night I went the pizza was good. It had a nice thin crust, the sauce was really good and the toppings were flavorful. The second time I went the crust was thicker and more chewy. The lasagna sauce was to sweet and the garlic rolls are tiny leftover pizza dough balls. They need to work on there consistency on the pizza crust and use less sugar in there meat sauce.
EXCELLENT. Went here today for lunch, they were swamped.You could really tell it was the start of the holiday weekend. took us awhile to get our pizza, but it was so worth the wait!! The hand tossed crust is yummy, and there is certainly no shortage of toppings or cheese. The staff is very friendly even under frantic circumstances. We will definitely be back.
