Great Chinese Food!. Great Food! Nice Friendly People/Owners. Nice Atmosphere. Great value for the price! Well worth your time to give it a taste! You won’t regret it!
Kam Meng for the Win!. There are quite a few Chinese restaurants in Newport, but Kam Meng is the one my girlfriend and I frequent the most. The food is excellent and Hiuya is always there to greet you with smiles and sometimes with one of her original songs on their piano. Also, the prices are very reasonable. My recommendation is one of their family dinners. You get a choice of one of their really great dishes(if you like seafood, the sizzling green onion oyster is out of this world!) soup, and a Bo Bo try which has many wonderful appetizers and a small flaming kettle in the middle to toast some of them. If you come to Newport, or even live there and are hankering for some good Chinese food and excellent atmosphere, Kam Meng’s is where it’s at!
Best Chinese Cuisine in Lincoln City. Kam Meng’s is my favorite Chinese food restaurant to go to on the coast. They offer fresh quality food for a decent price.I’ve been going to them for years, and will be for years to come.
YUM. Me and several of my friends eat here every so often. The food is wonderful, the service is good, and the owner is the nicest person ever! I love the crab puffs and the eggplant hot pot. Super delicious! Even the lunch specials are enough for 2 meals for me. 🙂
We arrived with four kids about 45 minutes before closing. I’m sure the waitstaff was apprehensive about us, but the service was excellent. We were also very satisfied with the food, quality, quantity and value. We would definitely come back and recommend it to others.
5 of us had dinner Friday March 1,2013,We all thought it was the best Chinese food we ever eaten. We will return. The owner played for our 2 birthday Gals and was a delight to visit with. Thanks for a special evening. Gloria
Good food, obnoxious self promotion. No offense but our family didn’t come to the coast to pat the owner on the back. We’re glad she’s happy, can paint, play piano or whatever. Isn’t a placard on EACH table touting her accomplishents enough? No…We were pressured to hear her play the piano, to buy her CD and artwork. Not cool. Great food but we won’t be back. We don’t like being pressured to give compliments and (tips I guess?) My husband plays the guitar but does it on his spare time. He doesn’t require his students to listen to him to get an A.
