The owner, Day, is such a huge liar, just downright dishonest, that I wouldn’t trust to eat there. That and the fact that his kids are running around the restaurant and his cook smokes inside! Yuck. Once someone lies to me I can not trust anything about them, ever.
The food was great, the menus are huge like you can’t even hold them it’s hilarious. Can’t really understand the owner/server either, however as I said the food was awesome.
We stopped here last week when visiting the historic Newport Bayfront. The restaurant is located along the north side of the southwest end of the main Bayfront drag ( SW Bay Blvd.).We were greeted by a man whom I gathered may have been the owner. Their menu had a good selection of classic Thai dishes, i. e. Basil chicken, Pad Thai, satay, etc. along with several local and unique options. Service was good and the presentation of each dish was great. I did find the vegetables to be a bit undercooked. That’s why I’m giving this place a 4 out of 5. I wouldn’t let my experience question yourself. I’d go again if I was back that way.
What a great little place! My curry was actually 5 star! We enjoyed a delicious meal, with fabulous service. The ambience is romantic and relaxed. I would come back again for sure!
Once again stopped here with my friends. This was some good Thai food. The menu was a bit much. I don’t know why they give you three different menus but once you figure that out you are rewarded with some good food. I had the drunken noodle with shrimp. With that I was craving a root beer what I didn’t know what they have cans. The spice of my meal made me want a little more than one can of soda. Had I known that I would of just stuck with water. Overall though good service good food.
Best Pad Thai Ever. I just got home from this place and it was so amazing, I am writing my first review of anything ever. Truly, this was the best pad Thai I’ve ever had! Not to mention, some of the freshest looking vegetables I’ve ever seen in a Thai restaurant, both in my pad Thai and my boyfriend’s pad see ew. The staff were friendly, the service was prompt and the price was great!
Best Thai on the Coast!. Not only is this the best thai restaurant on the Oregon Coast, but they also accommodate my dietary restrictions beyond anyway I could have asked. I am a celiac and I have to be very careful about cross contamination of wheat products when I go out to eat at restaurants. The wonderfully loving couple always makes sure that my needs are taken care of before I even have to ask now. I am very sensitive and I have never had an issue. They know me right away and treat every party that I bring or recommend with the very best food and service. We are never disappointed; everyone raves about the place! The portions are a good size and the food is always fresh. Our family knows what to expect when we go there and that we can trust their food and fantastic service.
