Disgusting! Rude bartenders who raise there voice at customers, got sick from the tap beer, restrooms had piss on the floors. It took 15 minutes to get a drink and there were only 10 people there! Karaoke was the only reason we stayed for 5 minutes. Brett is awesome singer! But, every time we go, it seems they are actually TRYING to go out of business! One of the worst bars I’ve ever been to.
Here’s my tip….. Stay away from this bar! My friend was in front of me ordered a drink off the specials board, the bartender didn’t know how to make it and it wasen’t in her book of drinks. So my friend ordered something else, no big deal but if you don’t know how to make it take it off your board. Secondly, I ordered a drink for my boyfriend and I and my drink had a fly in it. Luckily I noticed before I took a drink of it. I took it to the bartender and showed her the fly and asked her if she could make me a new one. She didn’t apologize and seemed annoyed by me asking her to make a new one. Thirdly, we came to this place because of it advertising Kareoke. Well they consider it as a low priority. The people that come here for a good night of Kareoking will be very disappointed as my friends and I were. The bartender is the kareoke Dj and when asked if we could get a few songs in she said her priority was the bar. I get it, the bar makes the business more money but they really shouldn’t advertise Kareoke if they are going to put it on the back burner. This bar has great potential though, I like that its got a dance floor, pool tables, a big open layout and a shuffle board. Over all the bar needs friendlier staff and more of them. I will not be returning and I will be telling my friends to stay away.

Service was great, drinks were killer and the karaoke was the best I’ve heard anywhere!! We will be back!
Local dive with a fun atmosphere.. Great place to come to hang out out and just be yourself. I’ve been here a few times to sing and have some stiff drinks. Never eaten here but im sure the foods decent.
Ummmm, locals only. In our search for some kind of night life in Newport we were told about a karaoke bar. We showed up at Moby’s with no expectations, and got just what we were expecting, nothing… The same three locals took turns singing sad country songs all night, it seemed like they did this on a nightly basis. The drinks were strong, stay away from the Mongolian Mother, unless your goal is quick intoxication, which might make this tired run down joint more fun. Somebody please put the mike away and turn on some rock and roll. There’s a sizable dance floor that nobody used because the music wasn’t worth it. wouldn’t go back…
