New resident to the area, my High School son told me about Oscar’s Mexican food. So we went there and I wish we did not waste your time nor money. The lady at the counter was nice but made no suggestions, no introductions, just a button pusher…With my three sons, Two had a large burrito they say was average. Bland and not much in the way of a Mexican burrito. Very little if any seasoning on the chicken, more like spoiled!I had a chicken enchilada combo, beans rice and shredded lettuce. Watery refried beans, bland rice and a enchilada that needed loads of hot sauce to even get any taste. Like the beans the enchilada sauce was mostly watery liquid and the cheese as not a Mexican style, more like a cheap wax based cheese. My other son had a beef Quesadillas which it too had bland beef and looked like boiled green peppers little to no seasoning. Even the sodas tasted stale and poorly mixed with the syrup.Just an all around poor experience. We’ve taken this one off the list of Mexican food (or any food) to revisit. And if you need to just the restroom, I highly suggest you wait until you can arrive at a clean one without all the graffiti and sticky stuff on the doorknob!
