Honestly the best meal i had in a very long time. Great service & atmosphere and the spicy shrimp with polenta was delicious. We were a table of 5 and everyone loved their mealAlso the Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever hadGo enjoy a meal
Best thing was the martini. Seafood was mediocre. Risotto was not good. It is what it is.
A neighborhood gem. Always a great selection of specials. Warm an inviting atmosphere. Wine bar! Always friendly service.
Tasty but …. We live in the bethany area and have visited Bethany’s Table a couple times. We were happy to hear they started serving breakfast and decided to try it out. The breakfast was tasty with a nice variety of choices. we ate our meal and prepared to leave when noticed the server going from table to table holding a puppy and chatting with customers as they ate. I like dogs OK and all but not in a restaurant. Clearly this was not a service dog. Upon asking I was told it was the owner’s dog and they were keeping it back in the kitchen. Ick! We decided we could not go there again. Too bad as this is one of the only nicer restaurant choices in our immediate area.
Odd Place. I have only been once for dinner and would never return. There was a strange atmosphere in this odd little restaurant which made me feel very uncomfortable. It also had a weird layout with tables being too close together, and had huge supermarket style beverage refrigerators in the restaurant in place of a proper bar!!! The staff were loud and overbearing trying too hard to be friendly to the point of making you feel awkward and uncomfortable!!! Food was average to bland, lacking seasoning and also very small portions! I would rather travel a few extra miles to the Pearl district in NW Portland where the restaurants/atmosphere and quality of food are streets ahead of this place. I couldn’t wait to get out of here and will definitely not be back.
I really loved my dinner. The Steelhead special (spice-rubbed steelhead with pesto drizzle and sea salt) was one of the best seafood dishes I have ever eaten. I liked the Rogue blue salad, too. Even the olives and cheeses were carefully selected and spot on the mark. I’ll be back for another meal here!
Friendly staff and tasty food. Went there on Saturday for lunch. Quiche Lorraine and Butternut Squash soup was quite tasty. My daughter really enjoyed her soup and sandwich as well. Waitress was extremely friendly. Atmosphere is neighborhood bistro. Music wasn’t too loud.
