Excellent Veggie Wraps!!. DELICIOUS veggie wraps and huge!! FULL of dark green lettuces, tomatoes, onions, and topped with creamy feta cheese – oh my God, so perfect!! Wonderful and I can’t recommend more how awesome this is to enjoy at the Saturday Market, sitting in the sunshine!05 Jun, 2014The best veggie wrap ever!! It was a nice sized portion, spiced and filled perfectly, and just outstanding!!!
Best Gyros. No need to wait until the week-end and fight the crowds at the Saturday market when you can go to Angelina’s now during the week! Either way, go to Angelina’s Greek Cuizina on the week-end; or, come here when you want to have the best gyros anywhere!
Wrappin It Up Right. Braved the zoo otherwise known as the Saturday Market because we’d heard good things about the Gyro’s from here. Obviously we werent the only ones because the line was about 20 people deep. Easily the busiest cart along this strip. Despite the line things moved pretty quickly. A pair of Lamb Gyros with Feta and some of their spicy Jalapeno Garlic sauce and we were on our way. A couple of things that stood out here. First, the meat is sliced thin off the spit and then grilled for a minute to give it a slight crispiness. The Gyros I usually like best have big chunks of meat in them, but I ended up really enjoying this style too. It was a nice alternative to the usual and I still felt like I got an ample amount of meat. Secondly, they butter up their Pitas and grill them. This is a great idea, I hate how most places just slap everything on a thick, doughy pita straight out of the bag. And last but not least; the Jalapeno Garlic sauce was SPICY. Theyre not trying to kill you, but they certainly arent worried about dialing it down for the spice sensitive babies. I commend them on that front. My wife and I agreed that this was probably the 2nd best Gyro we have had here in Portland. Aybla Grill having the best Ive had anywhere on this planet; a tough act to follow. Needless to say; recommended. drexlermcstyles.tumblr.com
