Not impressed. Although the crab soup was good the tomato bisque was luke warm and unimpressive. No one there for Saturday lunch and talk about an uni…

Lunch Disspointed. Went for lunch the other day with a work colleague. First the server was very unengaged and slow especially considering they were not very busy. When we asked for things like a wine list and Ketchup for fries it took forever. With regard to the food I ordered the steak salad, what I got was an very bland piece of meat sliced on top a couple pieces of frisee with a couple of cherry tomatoes and no bleu cheese that was listed in the description. I would call it a sliced grilled piece of meat with a garnish, not a steak salad. With the kitchen sending out something so bad and so many other options in town I am not sure I would go back.
Very active Happy Hour yet quiet and cozy for dinner. Great wait staff, friendly and knowledgeable. But my favorite things are the playful and tasty twists on American food. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich as an ice cream sandwich on wonder bread cake? Crazy!
Had an excellent lunch for my first visit here. Crab bisque, lamb burger, and one of the best bread puddings I have ever had. Great service (Jordan). A must for me to come back and try dinner next!
Great Ambiance, Delicious Food. I went while waiting for my greyhound bus to the coast, only a few blocks from the station, open at the in between hours of 2-4 pm. Great cheese plate and they make drinks with fresh grapefruit juice!! That alone is worth a gold star.
Only average. Service from the beginning was poor-and it was a slow Thursday night-crab bisque was wonderful as a starter-rest of main courses were ok-while service continued to be dull-not likely to go back.
Exceptional food, exceptional service for the price.. You could spend about twice as much for the experience you receive at Davis St. One of the best ‘values’ in Portland. You might want to make a reservation for a weekend night though, as it tends to fill up.
Fantastic food, this was a great find! The service rates very high as well…we’ll be back very soon
