Not only is the service, food, and atmosphere fantastic for a very reasonable price – this restaurant held my backpack (which I accidentally left there on my first trip to Portland) for SEVEN MONTHS in the managers office until I was finally able to go back and get it.I had an amazing dinner there, again, with my best friend last night. These guys really deserve all the customers they can handle. 😀

Really enjoyed my meal. I loved the fresh food and flavors. There is a great happy hour menu that goes until 7PM. My lamb Moussaka was the best I have had! I also enjoyed the service as it was attentive. The restaurant is quaint and inviting.

Unsurpassed Cretan cuisine bar none!. We were a party of three who had dinner on a recent Friday night in September. Full disclosure; I was raised in a Greek family (both sides) and have consumed many a meal on the island of Crete. While the decor and service were great, what stood out was the food. Tiropita that was filled with a creamy feta and mint scented delicacy like none other I have ever tasted. Spanakopita that surpassed the tiropita! A complex layer of flavors that included but was not limited to, spinach, dill, mint and feta. The lamb appetizer was served with braised kale and olives in a manner that was both unique and delicious. We were thrilled with both the fried and grilled calamari. Tender, not a hair over cooked and perfectly seasoned. Our grilled Branzini completed this delicious array of choices. It as accompanied by a beet, potato puree which did not skimp on the garlic. Fabulous presentation joined by great flavors made for a perfect meal. All I can say is try it and you’ll see fir yourself. This is not your typical Greek restaurant fare. It was worth the trip from the East coast to taste this miracle meal!
