Great Comedy, Okay Food, Terrible Service. Not a Good Combo.. Go for the comedy, as they’ve had some good comedians in their line up and I’ve rarely if ever have been disappointed. The food here is a bit above average. Their desserts are good enough, and dinners are marginally better. Their cocktail specialties can come off as a bit weak sometimes.However, the service really brings this place down. We’ve gone several times, and we’ve had several servers pass our table, and we’re never even asked if we’re ready to order at all. In fact, there have been times where we’ve seen people to the left, right, and behind us get service and somehow we’re the pariahs in the restaurant – the untouchables who must not make an order lest we taint the service somehow. We’ve gone ten minutes into a show before a server even notices we exist, and I’m positive we did not pack our invisibility cloak for any of our trips.I suppose we shouldn’t complain too much. With comp tickets there’s a two-item minimum, but if they refuse to serve you they can’t really enforce it. It’s still frustrating to sit and wait and watch as servers seem to magically avoid your table as if you just didn’t show up. The only thing keeping us from thinking we had inexplicably died and become ghosts is the fact that the host never seats people in our chairs in a packed house.Go for the comedy. It’s great comedy. I love to laugh. I wish I could go to comedy clubs more. Buy tickets even, as there’s no minimum if you pay admission to the place. Eat somewhere where they care about service.
