For this review we only came to the bar and had some drinks.We were in Old Town, down there waiting for the Christmas Boat Parade to start and to also check out the white stag sign when the red nose is lit up. While there we stopped at Kells Irish Pub for a drink. We tried a champagne cocktail that was Citrus infused along with the house IPA. Both drinks were stellar. The bartender was cool and creative when making my champagne cocktail.The atmosphere is fun. They have these dollar bills with quarters wrapped inside them that are stuck to the ceiling all over the place. I asked them how they got the dollar bills up there, but they would not give me the secret! I tried to stop in the restroom before leaving but it was a horrific scene in there.
Shepher’s Pie was excellent. Kell’s IPA was decent. Seasonal Pale Ale was ok. Ate at the bar, service was prompt. It gets crazy crowded at night. Wasn’t too crowded at 5pm.
