This health conscious, sustainable cafe is nestled in the Pearl district of Portland sharing the space with a neat little yoga studio. The Blessings juice packed a very gingery punch, which I liked but be aware you’ve got to be a fan of ginger to drink that one! We got two Dragon bowls, one with avocado ranch dressing and the other with peanut dressing. Very nutritionally balanced and filling, just what we needed after a long drive down from Seattle.
Great smoothies. Fresh food. However it was a bit stuffy when I went. Perhaps it’s because of the yoga studio in the shop as well- lots of warm bodies. Overall it was a good experience. imriche.com
A unique yoga studio/meditation/massage/coffee shop/smoothie bar/cafe that offers a selection of salads and healthy bowls for any diet. Many vegan and vegetarian options – I can highly recommend the Shiva Salad and Emerald Eyes smoothie.
Weird set up as it is a yoga studio, store, coffee shop with Vegan food offerings. Doesn’t go outside the stereotype but the food is creative enough and has good flavor. The place is super warm so best not to eat indoors if you can help it, self serve water sadly is just as warm. Decent place for breakfast but wouldn’t go out of my way again.
While the concept of this place is cool, it is also equally strange. There is a note on each table suggesting that people keep somewhat quiet because a yoga session may be going on. People go to eat and converse, and besides, how much noise is their juicer or coffee grinder or steamer making? Speaking of coffee, I ordered a latte. I’m not a coffee snob at all, but when they serve me an Americano with some milk foam, I’m going to notice… They get one star because of the roll up door and fountain.
Love love love this place. They have fresh juice, kombucha, smoothies, bowls, and salads that are all organic and vegan! And if you’re feeling up for it, they even have yoga classes (they’re attached to a yoga studio).
Really great spot for a quick, healthy breakfast or lunch. If you’re looking for near, you won’t find any here but the portions are big enough, especially with ingredients like avocados and brown rice, to fill you up. And yes it sounds kind of hippy, but the food is excellent and you don’t feel gross when leaving. I love the El Dorado salad with greens, yam rice, jalapeo cashew cheese and walnut taco crumbles. Plus they even have mimosas and beer when you want to splurge! bakerybingo.com
