Awesome coffee, another place a must visit if you are serious about savoring flavor. I had a buzz from my coffee, beautiful.
How Coffee should taste… For me and my bf today it was all about the coffee and not about the milk’. Increasingly disappointed with the likes of Starbucks and the larger chains whose coffee is drowned by what seems an ocean of milk. Stumptown is a perfect representation of how coffee should be served, full bodied and a golden crema by a caring Barista. Best coffee I have tasted in a long time.
Very cool place. I had read about this place in my Bon Appetit magazine so when I visited Portland I went to check it out. It was a really cool place, very nice vibe. The cappuccino I order was delicious and looked beautiful. They had some interesting artwork on the walls. Overall great place and I will definitely visit again next time I’m in Portland.
Infamous-town. I spend $20+ every time I stop in because I have friends and family across the country who need their Stumptown stash refilled!
OMFG I love it.. Freaking amazing. I’d move to Portland simply so that I could be closer to this coffee (oh wait I am moving there!) I’ve grown up with coffee and latte/espresso as part of my daily life, but I’ve never had a latte that was almost a sexual experience like the one I had at Stumptown. My bf and I bring back coffee each time we go to Portland and I’ve had requests over and over again to bring it home. Love it!
Perfect Cappuccino. Because of my Bay Area roots, I normally drink coffee at Peet’s on Broadway. However, Stumptown is a Portland institution. A second reason, Voodoo Doughnuts is about a block away.I had a marvelous cappuccino for breakfast while eating my ODB Doughnut. The perfect blend of Italian and American traditions. What could be better?
Better than all the rest!. Stumptown trumps every other place for coffee with the exception of Gorilla’s in NYC. Hands down. I have not found a better cup of coffee anywhere else in the city.
