Service was the big issue here, took a long time to get seated when there were a ton of tables open. Took a very long time to even get our drink or food order taken. All of the sudden the manager shows up and people are working and the service picks up. Too many good places in Portland to have to deal with terrible service. Will not come back.
Modern good clean sports bar with good food and service. I liked their calamaris and hamberger and fries were decent too. Good place to watch games enjoy decent food in nice atmosphere in Portland.
Excellent food, great beer sampler and selection, excellent service by Rachel. An overall enjoyable experience…I would definitely return next trip to Portland.
Service. Still waiting…When I say that I mean, I couldn’t get someone to take my order for food. So, I gave up and put my card out for payment. ..still waiting..This is ridiculous.!!!
Yucky
Nice place. Not too dark, not to loud, good balance. Food is good and large TV’s for the sports fan but not overbearing. Will come back.
Breakfast in Portland, OR. Went for a late breakfast on Sunday and found the Thristy Lion Pub after seeing the line for Voodoo donuts around the corner. Staff were all very friendly and we liked the atmosphere. Prices here were about 9.00 for french toast and 10.00 for eggs toast and potatoes / bacon. Peppered bacon was tasty! The problem with the french toast is that it had aunt jemima syrup that they tried to pass off as real maple syrup, buuuuuuuut you can’t fool a New Englander! The coffee was a light roast and I thought it was the best part of the breakfast. The potatoes were pretty good and had their own flavor which I liked. Bottom line – it’s not too expensive for portions, but there are so many damn places in Portland it’d be hard to justify going back. I thought it was okay, so if you’re new to Portland or just swinging through, it’s got a good location to get a cheaper breakfast and not get caught in a tourist trap.
