Awesome!. My boyfriend and I come here often after trying quite a few menu items, we have found our favorites! Kao Soy is a red and yellow curry dish with two types of egg noodles. I add broccoli to it, so good. Lemon grass chicken with pad thai peanut, is a newly discovered favorite. Service is always great and fast. Great open windows, decor is thoughtful and specials ever changing. Wonderful place!
Worst take out I have ever had. I signed up so that I could leave this review.This was the worst Thai food I have ever had in Portland. Pot stickers were store bought and deep fried (you can tell by the marks on the bottom) – it’s not difficult to make a dumpling, guys. Tom Yum was incredibly bland – no kaffir lime leaves, no galangal, and one little piece of lemon grass – no enough to impart any flavor.Pad Thai was a bland lump of noodles – I tossed it out.
Great place for Thai! Name changed to MEE DEE THAI. Mom and Sis took it over from their bro who has 2 others. Same place, great food, very nice calm setting to a partial open kitchen. Food and portions are great. Perfect cozy warm unassuming slightly low light setting. Good Stuff!
What a bummer!. I have been a loyal customer since they first opened as Tsunami Thai. They make my very favorite dish that only one other place way out in Lake Oswego makes. I have been there many times and have never had even a small complaint until this past October when I was mistakenly charged twice for an order. When I brought it to their attention I was promised it would be taken care of and the charge reversed. Weeks went by and it was not fixed. I called and went in repeatedly to inquire as to what the hold up might be and each time was told it would be fixed soon. It has now been three months. It makes me really sad to have to write a poopoo review of them because their food is great and the service is super fast, but I feel insulted and disrespected as a (loyal and polite) customer and will not be returning to Mee Dee.

Best Thai in Town. I visit Tsunami at least once or twice a week. Very close to where I work. The service has always been fantastic,polite and friendly. The food is awesome and prepared to the HOT i love .Been to other Thai around town they seem like they have no consistency in either the service or spice in their food unlike Tsunami. Prices who cares if you spend just a little more for the best food and service in town.
