AMAZING.. I have eaten here at least a dozen times since moving to Portland and I NEVER walk away unsatisfied. The small plates are each different and delicious. You NEED to try the yam noodles and the eggplant with miso glaze, they are fantastic.
One of the best in Ptown. Just work your way down the menu board and sip a little sake as you do. You’ll be happy, satisfied and wanting more only because its so good. Pork belly, kombu ba squash, wassabe watermelon, everything.
Super Good. The bf and I really enjoyed the food. We especially loved the special of the day which was glazed Brussel Sprouts…fantastic. Everything was really tasty, my only complaint is everything could have been a bit hotter.
Belly full of japanese love. It is hard to find words to describe the homey feeling, sweet smells and magic tastes…..my favorite thing to do when visiting Tokyo is to head straight from the airport to the Tokyo Fish Market to find an Izakaya right off the path of the main market, at which point I feast on beer and food until full, then head into the city with a full belly of japanese love and a big smile….. This is how Miho Izakaya touches me….
Our new favorite place. We found Miho a few months ago searching for Ramen in Portland. Their pork ramen is delicious, but there is SO much more to this place. Cozy, friendly, inviting, and the food is so good I almost cried last time we were there :)Staff is friendly, food is reasonable priced and served quickly, beer and sake selection is perfect. We always find new treats every time we go to Miho. ….and they have Usagi Yojimbo pages as part of the bathroom wallpaper…. what more you you ask for?
Great food, Great time!. 4 of us on a Monday night. The server was very helpful, knowledgeable, & friendly. The prices were great! Four of us ate several small plates of delicious food & had a total of 8 drinks for $86. I am not extremely knowledgeable about Japanese food, but I really enjoyed the flavors & freshness. The yakisoba noodles were terrific, the asparagus dish crunchy & wonderful- my favorite. We are going back next Monday!
Avoid. Major MSG headache. Oh and overcharged my bill $5
