Best fish & chips in NOPO. I’d been here twice before, about a year ago. At the time I thought it was a dive because they had card tables covered in paper, nobody was there, and when I ordered fish & chips they were greasy and not what I’d expect for $12. Now, they’ve really fixed it up. We tried it again because we wanted some real British food. The inside looks much better – cute and a real find. Fish and chips = best in NOPO? Also tried the bangers & mash, and the sausage roll, which were traditional and worth the extra wait to cook. Jalepeno poppers (alright, not British) were delicious too. They played Dr. Who while we ate and had some very serious Tuesday night trivia on the first few seasons of the original show. The furniture was cool and we sat on a corner couch while eating. There were three Tardis restrooms. It was charming, we had a great time.
