Not Bad, but Not Great. We popped in for brunch last weekend. The service was great. I had a fried egg on a English muffin, and the boyfriend had a order of Biscuits and Gravy…the biscuits were stale, and there was way too much of some herb in the gravy.

Best Pub Food in Town. I don’t know how I missed this place for so long, but it’s no secret to me anymore. Went in for an early dinner/late lunch and was greeted by a very friendly server. The beers up on the board are varied, local, and show fantastic taste. Local Oregon breweries are spotlighted and they seem to pick the best of the best. Now, if you’ve been in Portland more than ten minutes you know that pubs with an impressive beer list are a dime a dozen. What sets this place apart is the AMAZING food. You read the selections on the special board and on the regular menu and you can’t believe you are in a very unassuming local neighborhood pub. The food is high quality, shows imagination, and cooked to perfection. Homemade soups, delightful specials, simply the best burger I’ve had, and seriously good dessert options. There just isn’t anywhere else I want to go but here anymore. Happy hour menu (food and drink) all day Sunday make this a value beyond belief. I’m hooked.

Huge pleasant backyard area with a non-smoking section…. Pleasant atmosphere. Lots beer and wine selection in bottles, and a half dozen interesting beers on tap from outta town. (Russian River Brewing!) Happy hour food menu includes grill cheese sandwich/tomato soup combo or burger for $5. Dinner menu looks kinda upscale. Cigars and cognac available. A nice change of pace if you are in the neighborhood. Hidden from street huge back yard area great on a summer evening.

Definitely going again. Excellent beer & wine selection. Decor mixed. Yummy but limited food selection. We had the smoked salmon flatbread which was a perfect blend of flavors & textures. The fried green tomatoes were breaded very lightly in cornmeal & not greasy at all. Served with a nice herby sauce. Husband had a burger which he devoured & then licked his fingers. Can’t help that it is a bit drippy. Overall a place to repeat.

Lovely….. Walking and looking for a place serve food late. Came across The Hop and Vine. Simple, dark, but rich decor. Black and white photos sprinkled the wall. Kind welcoming server who recommended the bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates. One of the best things I have ever had. Next time that will be my dinner with a glass of red. Yummy garlicky salad dressing atop the generous side salad that came with the sandwich. Definitely will be back!

Best neighborhood bar ever! Beer/wine is incredibly reasonable, food is great, and atmosphere is cozy. Just opened up the patio and it’s delightful too. Thanks yetti’s!

Secret gem in NOPO. Casual atmosphere, delicious drinks, excellent furniture, informed host(yetta, how often do you meet the owner who’s serving you). This is my favorite neighborhood joint.
