This place is cool! It’s very different from Fogo de Chao. Flat rate for adults is $40. They provide an assortment of meats. My favorite is the lamb and tri-tip. They like to wrap bacon a lot in their meats. I wasn’t a fan of the grilled chicken breast wrapped in bacon nor the filet minion wrapped in bacon. I wish they served mashed potatoes bc fries were kind of weird. But! They did have a decent salad bar (cold bar) and hot bar that provided fries, white rice, black bean soup, and beef stroganoff. Servers were tentative and welcoming. I’d rather pay more for Fogo de Chao. That’s just me though! imriche.com

Salty, way over priced dry meat. And that salad bar is something you would have at McDonalds. Oh wait McDonalds doesn’t have a salad bar. And neither should this place. Service was ok and drink weren’t bad. Portland has way too many better and places for the money.

Didnt love it at $92 for two…. Nothing was special about this experience. There were people having loud conversations as though no one else was there. There were literally children in high water pants running around with baloons. The salad bar was boring. Not one meat item was very good. It was diner quality and experience for 5 star price. Disgusted.

The service was incredibly good, the staff members were entertaining and warm. The atmosphere was lovely. We went during dinnertime. Waiters came over with hunks of different meats on skewers, and they’d slice the meat off for us to put on our plates. Being served food on skewers is an ingenious way to be served. You can try everything on the menu and not completely fill yourself. We got to pick and choose what we wanted to eat, which is incredibly convenient. The salad bar was the best salad bar I’ve ever eaten from. Important note: This is a not a restaurant for vegetarians. Meat takes up almost the entire menu. Overall, everything was delicious and I didn’t waste a thing. Brazilian food is amazing.

Meat on a Stick!. After reading the reviews for the Brazil Grill it seemed like a mixed bag. I have been this this type of restaurant before so I halfway knew what to expect. We came in a party of five to celebrate our birthdays, three of us in our family have birthdays in a four day time period. Of note there is an automatic 18% gratuity for parties of 5 and larger but we knew this ahead of time when we made reservations so it came as no shock when the final bill arrived. The restaurant itself is a bit small and cramped however this didn’t bother any of us in our party although I know some might find this annoying. Our server was very friendly and prompt in explaining the dining process and providing us with drinks and refills. You start as a salad bar which I though was very nice (Caesar salad, pene pasta salad, fresh tomato salad, beef stroganoff, meatballs, etc.). Everyone at our table was very pleased with the selections and honestly you will probably one go once because they serve you so much food. Once we returned to the table they brought us beef empanadas and deep fried polenta sticks. Then the meat began to flow. At your table they leave you a little puck that is green and red which signifies to the gauchos whether or not you are ready for service. We were served an assortment of meats and pineapple by the friendly gauchos that came around to the tables. The gauchos brought us tri-tip (the tables unanimous favorite), mustard marinated steak, spicy pork, lamb, shrimp, bacon wrapped chicken (a little dry), sweet ham, sausage, chicken wings, garlic bread rolls, and pineapple. That is really all I can remember because honestly there was tons of meat and it was flowing aplenty. Everyone in our party left full and satisfied. This restaurant is on the more expensive side but for a nice celebration it was a great place to come and totally worth it. All five of us heartily agreed that we would return to the Brazil Grill!

I’m so sad :(. Our friends recommended this place after going to 1 in Calif. We were salavating for weeks, so sad. Waitress got us a drink to start and didn’t see her for the rest of the meal until hunted down for the bill. Needed more drinks, out of water, meat DRY. Wrapped in bacon still dry as a bone and Tough. Not 16 kinds of meat, about half that. SMALL salad bar, LOUD restaurant, no music. Most bland seasonings, some good. Beware of 18% tip on parties of 6 ! Not hardly worth the 12% we did give her, we were party of 4. phew! Dinner for 2, we paid Over $100 to be disappointed 🙁 Never thought I’d say this but Home Town Buffet, Lots of meats and huge variety, $10 🙂

Had 7:30 reservations. Got there at 7:28 and was told I’d have to wait about 30 minutes. $116.00 for three people. Very pedestrian meat selections. Mainly chicken and sausage. This was my second and last trip there.
