Just drinks only. Had the zesty mango martini, it was good. Started off sweet then the heat kicked in nice combo of flavors. Also had the cucumber mojito which was refreshing.

Love this place! Happened to be there on a Monday night and luckily got to take advantage of their happy hour. The cocktail with cucumber in it (forget what is called) was amazing. I had the calamari and a salad, both were very good. Server was wonderful. Most of all I liked the ambience and the fact they had a pool table.

Very hip place but……. What a neat place in terms of ambience. The staff and management were super helpful and friendly, but my omelet was so rubbery and tough I could hardly eat it. If I wasn’t so hungry I would have sent it back. May try again, but not so sure.

Manipulative service, only fair food. We were lucky on a Saturday evening just after 5pm to find a parking spot within a half block of this restaurant aka tavern. Im going to get right into the manipulation first, then talk about the food. When you enter, you are greeted by attractive young women and your order and table help are clones, young attractive women. They are, as many reviews say, friendly and helpful. They do their duties of taking your order, making recommendations and coming back around to see if you would like another drink, they push drinks. It is young men, and Ill have to say, Hispanic young men who bring you the food and bus the plates after you are finished. They are way over staffed and there were two young men standing around near the kitchen pickup area seemingly doing nothing but instigating cheering and laughter among the staff. Ill get back to this.We never did get one of the items we ordered but the saving grace here is that we couldnt have eaten it anyway, and it was not on our bill at the end. When the check arrives it was no trouble, in fact it was offered by the attractive young women to have our seating of six split up into three groups of two. Great service. Going over our bills however, I noticed that it is written rather manipulatively. How? They have already tagged on their suggested tip of 20%. I dont have a problem with a table of six and the 20% tip, if it is deserved. However, heres the manipulation, the way the bill reads it is very easy to miss that the 20% has already been added. I pointed this out to the others at our table and the one who recommended Brix and has been there before, was thankful for my watchful eye because he was already calculating his tip on top of the subtotal. It would be very easy to end up giving them a 44% tip if you werent paying close attention. The cheering and laughter over at the pickup area of the kitchen, either it was for the game on the TV or someone had just tipped too much. When our change came back because we were using cash, they couldnt be bothered with coins that we had every right to and didnt receive this, only bills. Add another percent or two to that tip. I guess thats the way they roll in The Pearl, or at least at Brix. The food. We were there during happy hour. Drinks and food was just okay. As someone else reviewed, the ribs were dry and lathered with sauce to cover this fact up. The Caesars salad was nothing more than cut up lettuce with two croutons and no cheese to be seen and very little dressing. The pizza I had was okay but areas were burnt on the bottom of the thin, crispy crust and the whole thing tasted of burnt flour. The sliders were slivers of filling and all buns. The soft tacos were okay.Other reviews tell of how loud the place gets when the DJ starts playing after 9PM. Well, we could not hear but half of what was being said by the person two seats down at our own table, the place is that loud well before 9 pm. At least it was happy hour prices, but I have no intension of returning.

Food is not bad but the service iwas terrible, waited. 45 minutes when promised 30 just to be told it would be another 20 minutes or sit outside in the chilly weather to sit on cold steel seats slopped sideways.

Frozen. Went in for brunch. Nothing I ate was fresh and everything was frozen. Food was not local and overpriced for the quality. Nice atmosphere though.

Great breakfast! Good coffee with very attentive service. Southern Benedict with green mole pulled pork was tasty. Carlton ham skillet breakfast with mushrooms and caramelized onions was also good.
