I enjoyed scoops of the marionberry, chocolate, and thai iced tea. I loved the flavors. It was the first time I had marionberry and it was fruity without being overpowering. The sorbet was chocolatey sweet. I loved the thai iced tea because it tasted exactly as I would expect. I also loved that I could order a small scoop. Not for me.. I’d rather go to Salt & straw in Nob Hill. Free & easy parking at Nob Hill, price is cheaper, more interesting flavor choice, fresh made waffle cone. I tried salt & caramel ice cream at both place. Salt & Straw is way better. More layers of flavorMaybe the rating is so high because there is a water park for kids beside it.

Quintessential Portland Joint. My friends, wife, and I really enjoyed our ice cream here. A few cool, unique things:- Tasting spoons are metal (not disposable)- Flavors are pretty wild (Spicy Thai Peanut); check their Facebook page for flavors of the day- They save broken cones for customer dog treatsI really liked my Cherry Almond Chip ice cream and Chocolate sorbet! Bottom line: This is a solid ice cream joint!
1st time visit. I was very impressed with the unique flavors they made. They also make their sauces. this is the best ice cream I have tasted in Oregon by far
Cool Moon is THE BEST !!. The best ice cream I have ever had…………….a treat whether it’s hot or cold outside……………even when it’s raining. Try all the flavors, especially the exotics like Kulfi. And the hot fudge sauce is to die for………and the house made cherries too…………..start small with a Moon Shot……………take home a pint or a quart…………perfect for any occasion……………..But don’t ask to use a restroom as theirs is no longer available………..and you don’t want to use the Portland Loo across the street……………trust me.
