Excellent breakfast here… coffee was only ok but sandwich was great and nice space to sit outside 🙂 they forgot our coffee at first so they gave us free cookies !!
The ciabatta bread here is to die for. I’m a fan of the breakfast sandwich with fontina and olive tapenade. I’ve tried the lox on challah roll, but found it to be dry – could benefit from a spread of cream cheese. Love the environment, which is at once spacious and bustling.
Very popular bakery in the Pearl District. They have wonderful breads and desserts, as well as solid sandwiches. The bakery is usually crowded and lively, which can make it fun but frustrating (particularly on a weekend morning, where big strollers insist on taking up so much of the small space). pateachew.wordpress.com
