Not so great. I was excited to try this place after a few friends mentioned it. But I found the same selections Coming around the Conveyor, & had a not so fresh texture. It was, however the cheapest sushi in memory. You get what you pay for in this case.

Quick, Tasty Sushi. Nothing fancy about this place, but it’s cheap and gets the job done. I eat here at least once a week.

Horrible. I have never written a restaurant review before, but I am compelled to write now. This Marinepolis Sushi Land is, hands down, the worst track sushi I have ever had. All of the rolls are coated with mayonnaise, and the fish is almost monochromatic–gray. I almost called the health department–not clean. The only items appetizing in the entire restaurant are the plastic sushi pieces in the glass case at the register. (05/08/2010)

Waited 15 minutes for a seat in a half full place while bus staff chatted. Were finally seated buy hostess pointing to seats across restaurant. Never offered anything to drink. How do they stay open?!

Like the McDonalds of Sushi. You don’t eat it because it’s good; you eat it because it’s there and you need sushi fast.

It doesn’t get any worse than this. Machine shaped rice, precut frozen fish prepped off site. Not a Japanese sushi chef to be found. Sure it’s cheap and it’s great for people who don’t know anything about what sushi is about. This place is terrible.

Good selection, great service. I took my mother to Marinepolis Sushi Land for her first conveyor belt sushi experience. I’d originally been afraid I was in the wrong place because the restaurant itself is very nice, not like your typical entry level sushi place. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I like that the food going around the conveyor belt has a plastic lid over it instead of being exposed like other places I’ve been to. To me the sushi was good, not for a discerning sushi person perhaps but a nice first introduction.
