After finishing up a lunch around the corner, I wanted to stop into the bakery to get a dessert to take home with me. I went in wanting a slice of cake. After getting there, I saw there were brownies! Brownies are impossible to find in Portland. They sell out before I can get one every single time. I picked up the espresso walnut brownie, and a large snicker doodle cookie. The brownie was rich and thick. The cookie was not as soft as I prefer my cookies. Last minute after seeing someone else’s beautiful latte I decided to get one as well. I ordered a vanilla latte. It was so good. It has been a while since I have gotten a latte that hasn’t taste burnt, but then again, I’m from Florida, and we only know how to make Cuban coffee. I will come back, I loved it here.
