Poor service at the door. Very rude and on a power trip to make him self feel important by not letting people in the door. Will not be returning to this place. Much better options in the Pearl.
I have been to the River Pig four times; either happy hour or late night cocktails. I have enjoyed all my visits. The energy of the bar is fun and reminds me of my college haunts except now I enjoy the River Pig Old-Fashioned versus a pitcher of beer. The Old-Fashioned is flavored with Fig and Maple. It is a smooth cocktail. I also discovered their buttermilk battered fried pickles which are a great appetizer for sharing. I definitely will visit the River Pig again.
Great Food. I got the chicken sandwich, my girlfriend got the mac and cheese, and we enjoyed both dishes quite a bit. The waitress seemed to be annoyed by our presence, but we have no complaints. Can’t wait to go back. (Decent whiskey flights, too!)
