Had the seafood paella and salmon had the skin on is and the slimy fat… It was horrible, when I told the waitress she could care less. Had to ask for drink orders, service was poor.

LOVE THIS PLACE. I ordered the Verde Ceasar, BEST CEASAR salad I’ve ever had. I also had the guacamole and fresh tortilla appetizer which was DELISH! To top of my review this restaurant had my favorite tequila AHA TORO! All three of them. I was very pleased. Our waitress was very sweet and tentative. And the music and all around vibes of this place is great! In my book, this is definitely a staple among restaurants in PDX. imriche.com

I have mixed feelings about Verde Cocina. On one hand I really appreciate the heathy fresh approach they are taking on Mexican cuisine. That being said their food was under seasoned and honestly all pretty bland. The guacamole was delicious and well seasoned but I wish it came with chips, corn tortillas just don’t have the same effect. The tofu mole had potential but the tofu and vegetables lacked depth of flavors. They have a really great happy hour. Tons of drink and food specials that are actually really good deals instead of your typical $1 off. The margarita was strong and delicious made with all fresh ingredients and agave.

Seriously love this place! One of my favorite neighborhood spots, the food is always fresh and loaded with vegetables. Some of the best guacamole in town, served with fresh corn tortillas. The kitchen is gluten-free! pateachew.wordpress.com

Great service and good happy hour. The tacos are huge and the guac is amazing. It’s a gluten free restaurant so no tortilla chips or flour tortillas.

This is really good and healthy food. I love the quesadilla del dia. The chorizo one is is really good. If you are looking for traditional authentic Mexican food, you might not find exactly what you are looking for. But they don’t claim to be that. What they are is a unique blend of northwest produce and Mexican cuisine. I will typically order from their booth at PSU farmers market, but also occasionally go to the sw location.

Very pleasant surprise. Top-notch meal. I had the chilaquiles and my friend had the huevos rancheros. Food was fresh, vegetables were delicious! Good selection of local beers. Nice environment and excellent waitstaff. I will be back for sure!
