Well done!!. My husband and i have been to this restaurant many times over the years. every time we went, someone new was either cooking or serving. consistency was an issue. The past few months though, they have had the same staff and an amazing new chef. The owners have finally hired people who care about customer service and the product they are putting out. We talked with the chef and she has some great new things that she wants to do such as updating the menu, adding dinner(which is already happening on Thursday nights), and starting sept. 7, they are having a brunch buffet. I am excited to see how things work out for this place. It is a great place to enjoy food while watching golf and enjoying some great scenery. I highly recommend(and have) this place to my friends.

Great Food. Attended the Mother’s Day Brunch, the food was fantastic, and the service was great. Heard from others the food was always great, so we tried it again, and again were wowed! The Golf Course, (Oak Knoll) makes for a nice backdrop. Will return often!
Not Worth It. As my first blog on this forum, Im unhappy it has to be a negative one. On Friday night, while traveling to Dallas to one of our favorite restaurants, my family decided to stop at Oak Knoll thinking that a sunny day and a nice view would be a nice change. While the latter part was good, the dining experience was terrible. My wife had their Prime Rib, which came out so tough and fatty she couldnt eat it. I started with the crab cakes and found no trace of crab in them. My steak, was also of no flavor and way overdone. While the server was some what attentive, they made no effort to correct our meals. The best offer was a free dessert, but after the entrees dissapointment we were thru eating. My Son, had the Hickory Bacon and Blue Cheeseburger, and said mediocre at best. I understand that they are just starting their dinners, but can only hope they practice a little more. We will not dine here again.
Mildly disappointing.. With the memory of a better than average Reuben Sandwich here a few weeks ago, I stopped in today to give their Club Sandwich a try.Ambient temperatures hovered in the low 70’s this afternoon so I parked myself at a shady table on the patio overlooking the golf course. Very pleasant. My server was courteous and helpful. I asked her to hold the third slice of bread which is usual on Clubs and chose Slaw as my side. The Sandwich was just OK. I was pleased to see real Turkey Meat but noticed the Ham was processed. It was better than one might find at a gas station wrapped in cellophane, but not by a wide margin. The Slaw was uninspired damp Cabbage with little flavor imparted by the Dressing. If I return, I’ll revert to the Reuben and stick with the crispy Fries.25 Jul, 2011Hey Rube!. The battle cry of carnies for nearly two centuries sprung into my head as I rolled down HWY 22 today with my stomach rumbling. As most golf course eateries can schlep together an adequate Rueben Sandwich, and as Oak Knoll was looming on my right, my hand reflexively engaged the turning signal. The place was clean and the decor was typical rubadubpubery. Think Rudy’s without the plush chairs and olde English men’s club flavor. Expansive windows afford a wonderful view of the patio below and the golf course beyond. A sprightly creature named Julie was my server and added considerably to an enjoyable lunch. She was there when needed but allowed lots of solitude and leisure to enjoy my Wooster and Jeeves novel.Julie assured me I could rely on well drained Kraut on my Reuben and such was the case. I opted for Onion Rings as my side which upped the tariff to the tune of $1.75. (I think.) It was a better than fair-to-middlin’ Sandwich but a bit strong on the Kraut and a tiny bit week on the Corned Beef. The Rings were perfect and delicious, as fattening things so often seem to be. All in all, it was a pleasant interlude and a decent meal. I plan to return and can recommend this place.
