Had a recent dinner here during Portland Dining month. The courses were interesting and flavorful, but a little light in amount. I left feeling hungry.Liked the flavors and our waitstaff was excellent.
We went there for the Dinning Month (3 courses for $33).Food was very good, but second course was tiny and the wine pairing by the glass very expensive.Moreover our cocktails were served after the first course, so really wrong timing.
I had been to the food cart a few years ago, and enjoyed it. I found out through Portland Dining Month that they are now a full-fledged Ristorante. We checked it out for the three courses for $33. Very good all-around: service, ambiance, and food.
The chef is Tuscan and the food presents excellent Tuscan dishes! We enjoyed last Sunday and have visited since Burrasca was a food truck some years back. Excellent pastas, as well as excellent meat and seafood dishes. Do enjoy!
Burrasca is an absolute gem. The food is beautiful, thoughtful, and delicious, and the owners and staff exude passion and warmth at every turn. Dining here is an authentic Florentine travel experience in Portland, and we are so lucky to have them.
