A great place for a quick lunch (good and friendly service). The food reminds me of my Grandmother’s cooking. The baba ghanouj was smokey and seasoned with sumac. The rice pilaf was seasoned with cardamon. All in all a very enjoyable Mediterranean plate.
Great spot! My wife and I had the gyros with pita bread and hummus. They were excellent! The gyros were maybe a little small, but not too bad. We met one of the owners. She was super friendly and fun to get to know! We’ll definitely be coming back.
Good lunch place. I’ve gone here several times for lunch and never been disappointed. The food is hot and a good value for the money. Its kind of a small place so sometimes finding a place to site is a challenge.
Jewel in the City. I have eaten at the Alexandrya for over 5 years. I have never been disappointed in a meal there. And that is saying a lot considering I am very particular about food. They are friendly, the food is wonderful and the prices are great! It is a hole in the wall so ambiance isn’t their strong suite. But for lunch who cares what the place looks like. Although as far as decor goes they have done a good job with a small space and a small budget.
Love it. This is a great restaurant for lunch. I have enjoyed all the flavors and quick service. It is a good value for the portions.
I’m sitting down right now eating the saltiest meal I have eaten in years. Everything is oversalted. The hummus tastes like mayonneise. All the meal is virtually unedible. You can’t stomach that much salt. If you have issues with blood pressure, avoid this place.
