Servers lacked skill in their trade. Soup was served looke warm, chicken dish had 2lbs of salt in it and it took forever to be served. Don’t waste your money at this establishment.
The prices on here are wrong, expect two or three dollars more. Otherwise good is excellent
Waited 45 minutes for our food. Waitress did not remember our requests. Utensils were dirty. Too dark inside. This restaurant survives only because of plentiful nearby customers in the form of PSU students and staff.
Delightful surprise. In the restaurant deadzone that is this area, I stumbled upon a great Thai restaurant. the service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the food was very well prepared, if a bit unoriginal. Nothing groundbreaking or inspiring going on here, but it was a surprisingly delightful lunch.
Bad service. The worst service. Almost 30 mins before dinner served. Water spilled all over table/floor and a server just looked at us and I had to ask for napkins. Not once did anyone come by and ask how we were or to clean up the empty dishes, glasses, etc. I had to ask for our receipt. Food was fairly good, except do NOT order the garlic shrimp. Over all – not a pleasant experience.
Real deal Thai. I so miss Baan-Thai. My wife used to work directly across the street so we could indulge in this exquisite place weekly. Now I’m am happy to make it a couple of times a year. That said, be forewarned this is real Thai… fiery, flavorful and normal human sized portions. The Thai BBQ game hen is unique and special. The Tom Kha is second to none. Ask what’s special or unique for the day. And seriously, if you aren’t pretty well able to handle spice and heat, order mild. What is medium at most Anglo adjusted Thai joints doesn’t even make the bottom of the range here!
Very average Thai, try red onion instead.
