A real find.. Wow, what a find!Last day in Portland and after a busy day, Sake was just around the corner from the Marriott.A small place, unpretentious. We sat at the bar. The staff was friendly and helpful and pretty much on.Randy had soup and teriyaki salmon, I had the teriyaki chicken and a house salad with peanut sauce. The flavors were delicate and full, not over powering. Randy said the salmon was the best he’d had in years, moist, not over cooked but hot all the way through. The chicken was tasty and plentiful.Then the check came. You know when you expect 30 or 40 dollars and the check is $75…… Well, I was thinking $75 – 100 from the portion size and quality, the bill was $42 (no booze). We had a nice conversation with the owner/chef. She was delightful and grateful of our compliments. She graced us with a complimentary glass of Sake, wow, it was great too.I would come back in a heartbeat. I would be glad to recommend this restaurant to friends or colleagues. This is a find.

Excellent fish, and my friend enjoyed his Thai/sushi combo. Pro tip: upgrade the California roll to a standard-sized roll for a couple bucks more.
The service was exceptional! The food was amazing!!! Pad Thai was perfect! Best I’ve had in a very long time! Cute atmosphere! Highly recommended!!!! Will definitely eat here again!!! Favorite!!!!!!! Must try! Sweet family business!!!
This restaurant was wonderful!! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcomed us as soon as we walked in the door. We brought our one year old daughter and they were very attentive to her needs. The food was delicious!! And the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be going back
In Portland on a job interview, I stopped in for lunch and was delighted by the great food (Drunken Noodle) but moreso the very friendly owner who insisted I try the homemade coconut ice cream (wonderful). We like Thai food, and this new restaurant is worth checking out.
Nice little place. Nothing fancy. Good service from friendly staff. Good value for money.
