Hidden gem. Fresh food, delicious healthy options, spotlessly clean and friendly owners. What took me so long to find them? I stop in early for a soy latte – their coffee is good. Try the Yakisoba Chicken with stir fried noodles and rice and steamed crunchy veggies with a delicious sweet soy type sauce drizzled over. So tasty! I’ll be keeping my eye on their specials in the future. And so much more reasonable than Elephants Deli in Fox Tower where I work. Nice quiet seating too.
Great quick, fresh, stop. It took me a while to visit this little cafe as it’s hidden within its building, but it’s very conveniently located directly across the street from the Fox Tower, where I work! A signboard out front promises that there really is a cafe inside, and if you make your way back you will find it. I have returned several times. They have a selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, and a teriyaki chicken bento box. If you are looking for something light and fast, this is a great place to stop. The green salad I had was generously portioned and very fresh. The teriyaki chicken bento box is light, tasty, and a meal in itself. It definitely beats any teriyaki chicken offering I’ve had yet from the carts, surprisingly. The soup I had (broccoli cheddar) was similar to soups I have had elsewhere but was hot and filling. The staff is quick and friendly, and their shop has a wide assortment of milk, juice, candy, chips, as well as non-food items you might have forgotten that day (deodorant? floss?) so if you just have a minute and you want something fresh, non-greasy, and filling, or need an essential item, stop in here!
