Visited here on a trip into Portland. I got the OMG Burger with bacon cheese fries. Husband built his own. Both were good, but my burger fell apart far too quickly – not even halfway through! The fries were great, especially the ranch! It had a nice peppery finish to it. He also got a strawberry milkshake to go, and even I (not a fan of strawberry) thought it was great! But beware, you’ll fill up fast from big burgers and fry portions.

Brunch Box is a unique burger joint that offers a new take on gluttony in Downtown Portland. You have your options of regular burgers, chicken burgers, and hey why not let’s use grilled cheese sandwiches as burger buns burgers.We opted for the You Can Has Cheeseburger, the Black and Blue Burger (added mushrooms), and a side of Onion Rings. These things were MASSIVE. They were generous with all the ingredients and this made it very hard to bite. We had to squish and contort our mouths so that we could get a proper bite in.The YouCanHasCheeseBurger is a burger with american cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, ketchup, mustard and mayo with TWO texas toast grilled cheese sandwiches. Although it was very large and unique, the flavours were just alright. We thought this was more of a novelty burger than anything else but it is definitely something we’re glad we tried.The Black and Blue was delicious. The blue cheese went so well with the burger and everything taste on point. The patty was juicy and the veggies were crisp. You could really taste all the different components in this burger rather than the YouCanHasCheeseBurger.The Onion Rings were fresh and hot. The batter was crispy and had a medium thickness to them. They were seasoned well and we were glad we ordered them.Overall, Brunch Box is a pretty good burger joint. We’d definitely go back to try the different burgers when we have the change and would recommend it to those travelling to Portland.
Great menu, good service, limited seating but totally worth a short wait. Perfect for a post-workout meal. Definitely worth the trip if you are in the mood for a hearty, homemade breakfast or lunch sandwich!
This joint is a bit overrated. Both Hamburger and fries were average and there wasn’t much room to dine in. Nothing really stood out. Worth going at least once since they have interesting burger combos.
