Go here. Seriously, this is the best restaurant in Portland. They serve delicious food with great portion sizes. They menu had some constant items that are served but they also have special weekly menu items! The entrees are only $7.50!!!! Service is beyond awesome! I absolutely love this place!
Great Cheap Lunch Food Downtown. OMG! So much better than the carts! I get a plate and a real fork! It is like being a human and not a stray dog.Real food. Really Good.
Good, but dry…. I had the Chimichurri Beef Sandwich, Curried Red Lentil Soup (Monday’s soup) and the Red Potato, Cucumber, & Dill salad. I also tried a chocolate scone which is not listed on the menu. The soup was excellent, with an Indian taste, very filling. This is why I liked this restaurant and am willing to try other items there (they have different specials each day of the week). My sandwich was disappointing. I got a whole but should have gotten half because it was very filling. The flavors were good, but it was extremely dry. Another review said they make their sandwiches fresh to order; this was not the case with mine. This may have contributed to the dryness. The Red Potato salad tasted okay, but the portion size was extremely large. It is very heavy on the potatoes, so unless you are feeling like eating a large bowl full of potatoes, don’t go for this. The scone was also incredibly dry, detracting from what might have been a good pastry. The staff was not particularly friendly, but not so much I wouldn’t want to try another item here. Overall the restaurant seems to have some promise, but has some misses on its menu or preparation.
