Can’t Say Enough Good Things. About Cassidy’s. We ate in the bar, in a corner booth and never lacked for service. Quite the opposite actually. Start with a housemade spicy pickle, follow that with equal doses of their chicken sandwich (which comes with pepperjack cheese, bacon and fries, all for $10) and their grilled flatbread pizza. They were happy to accomodate any request including truffle fries which aren’t actually on the menu. Our server was friendly and kept us on schedule (we had tickets to a show at the Rose Garden), the bartender recommened an excellent yet affordable 15 year old single malt scotch, and it was an all around great dining experience.
Fries and calamari in cold oil… never again.
Very Impressed. Just back from a great night. French Onion soup and homemade winter veg was superb, Chicken Marsala was a 8/10 and would have benn a 9 with some green, but the Creme brulee was absolutely divine. Leave plenty of room though cos its the biggest creme brulee EVER! SErvice very good and a very nice saloon atmosphere with an eclectic mix. Would definitely recommend and head back!
Great food, wonderful service!. First night I was in Portland went looking for food at 11pm. Found this place, and what a find! I had the Pork tongue sliders with a chimichurri sauce. They were delicious and due to happy hour, very affordable! The bar is one of the few I’ve ever seen Bushmills Black Bush, so I had a double after my meal with a scoop of made onsite vanilla ice cream, which was a perfect finish. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I went back my last night in Portland and got the Chicken Fried Pork Belly served on a bed of Hominy, which was one of the best meals on my vacation. When I make it back to Portland, I will definitely stop here again!
Made a reservation for dinner before a concert at the Crystal, and was very happy with the choice! We parked once, and couldn’t get closer to the concert. Besides the great logistics, the service and food were excellent, beginning with the very polite person on the phone. There were four of us, and we enjoyed the house salads to start, and had really good tenderloin and burgers. I know, there are a lot of good burgers in Portland, but this was VERY good, and all was reasonably priced. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine with good advice, and very accomodating with special requests. We will be back, especially before we go back for another concert.
One of if not the best late night happy hours downtown. Great food for very low prices. Always a good choice.
Great service and a friendly atmesphere. Food was very taste and reasonably priced.
