Daily Grill is a nice national chain that is in upscale locales that you can depend on. This particular location is in The Westin hotel in downtown Portland.All the meals are good, but the omelette at breakfast with nothing short of perfect. The OJ is freshly squeezed. Food was fresh and ambience was sufficient.
As one of the few places open on New Year’s Day we picked this spot. Overall a good experience. Butternut squash soup was very good. Very thick with lots of flavor. Steak salad was huge. Lots of meat. Meat a little under done as wife ordered medium while I think it was a bit towards med rare. Great flavor in the meat. My chicken pot pie was huge. It looked like a small pizza with all that dough. Bowl us very shallow so not too much filling but still it is the entire plate. Very creamy with lots if chicken and veggies. Service was wonderful. Good spot and we would come back.

Great, modern vibe, wired for WiFi and with Internet touch screens at the bar. Friendly prompt service and very good happy hour specials. Part of the lounge has various soft sofas and chairs to sink into as you sip your drinks and use Internet. If you are guests at the adjoining Westin Hotel, as we were, a great place to unwind after a hard day’s sightseeing.
Great place and food! For dinner in a casual luxury atmosphere great idea! Very big portions for affordable prices, def. going to come back!

I ate breakfast here, expecting the worst, as one normally would with restaurants attached to a hotel. Wow! I was totally surprised. I ordered the Cobb Omlett and it was fantastic. The service was great as well. Highly recommended.
