Top Choice in the Food Cart Mob. It’s almost overwhelming to walk this block deciding on what to eat. There are so many choices! After a long decision making process- I was thrilled with this place. The food was beyond what I expected.. Real flavor, homemade, piping hot, and wholesome. I was filled up with their love, smiles, and amazing food. The injera bread was generous as well. The portions great for the price. Doro wat is a favorite of mine and this place did not disappoint. I wanted to put these people in my pocket they were so dern cute. You won’t be disappointed here!
Hit the spot. We ordered the Mesir Wat (red lentils) with berbere sauce. It was nicely spiced and quite filling. The dish came with two side salads and a generous amount of injera. We took it to a park a block away and were lucky enough to be serenaded by violin. There are a lot of choices in this mammoth food cart pod and I would highly recommend giving Emame’s Ethiopian a try.
