Tasty Indian food for a great price. The food court upstairs has a couple of long tables for team dining. I love the spicy curries many of which are vegetarian or vegan. The Chicken Makhani is exceptionally good. The owner always welcomes me and he remembers my favorite dishes.
Lunch Combo. This place is great. You get four choices from a cafeteria style setup served over rice and a comically tiny piece of naan for about $7. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Shares a storefront with a Mediterranean place as well if someone is with you who doesn’t like Indian food. And there is a Vietnamese place next door.
IMO the best Indian food in Portland, and served food cart style in the smallest space. The long line of customers moves quickly in spite of the sample bites provided for the unsure. The owner travels to India 2x a year to insure quality, fresh spices, so that and the many vegetarian options make me a regular at Ghandi’s.
