This restaurant is a cafeteria style place. You have to serve and bus yourself. In Japan, this kind of restaurant is like a burger place. They just serve curry. This used to be Bush Garden Japanese restaurant for years and years.
Beef With Rice. It’s interesting. Place smells wonderful upon entering. Friendly staff. You get about 3 pieces of meat in the curry gravy unless you pay for more. Good for a unique, light lunch. They also have a chicken and a veggie option.

THE place for Japanese style curry. Very friendly staff too, love this place!
Japanese stew. I had this food almost two years ago when I was visiting Portland. I just had it once, I was in a rush to join my friend and chose it because it was cheap and on my way. Today, I accidentally ran across their website. The fact that I still remember this restaurant must say enough about how wonderful this place is. If I go back to Oregon, one of the main reasons is this restaurant!!
Only three dishes which are basically variants of one dish. But they do it right. Perfect portions. Order extra pickled radishes, excellent!
