This place used to be the spot back in the day during my PSU days. Coffee is ok (illy) but depends on the barista. Staff is super friendly while the food used to be much better as the quality dropped over the years. Nice ambiance with a quiet calm setting for a quick bite and a read. Very close to campus if your into supporting local business over corporate chains.
A calm Park Block Cafe that serves illy coffee which I love in a cappuccino. The food was fresh but not highly favorable. I had a Chop Salad. They served it with a olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing, on the side. Next time I will ask for Gorgonzola and pepperoncini and spice it up.

This is a great lunch spot! I got the salmon lox veggie bagel and it definitely hit the spot. There’s lots of space to sit inside the cafe and a few outside.
Stopped by for a quick sandwich to go today. The cashier was so friendly & helpful. Got the turkey, mozzarella & avocado. Delicious! Would definitely return if ever back in town. travelandtable.com
This is wonderful cafe. The environment is so comfortable and employees are so friendly . I laugh at these other two posts since I know the owner and he is the nicest person. The variety and freshness of their food keeps me coming back again and again. To those peps saying negative comments Obviously were saying white lies to get free goods . So sad! My opinion is if a business has been there for 20+ years they must be doing it right…. I’m impressed !
I thought the food was good but now I’m afraid of running into the owner… Yikes!
