We just happened to be in downtown in this rainy cold weather and by chance tried this restaurant. Beautiful place. Great beer. One of the best fish tacos I have had in US.
We came here as our first home-brewed place on our initial visit to Portland. We visited there February 2017. The brewery was decent, and we ordered the appetizer tacos. We did not realize, coming from the south, that the tortilla would be corn and not flour. It tasted okay, but my partner did not like it at all. This is not the restaurant’s fault. Overall the food and beer was pretty good.Here is where I take issue. We sat at the bar to have our beer and food. The bar had a very strong, dirty odor. Like a dog took a bath and their dirty dishwater odor, that I could not get past. I noticed it right away but thought I could just ignore it. I was wrong.

He went above and beyond in helping us take a group photo though, more plus points for him. The food and atmosphere was alright. We must’ve been seated on the other side of the venue as I was expecting more of a restaurant-feel to it. Not in a rush to go back as there are plenty of other choices around to try out!
