Good food for a nice dinner. Although more expensive, the atmosphere, service and flavours make up for it. Came here around Christmas time and although not crowded, there was a nice buzz. The food was absolutely delicious without being too heavy or salty. The flavours complimented well and the proteins (especially duck breast) were great! Loved the dessert too which was a warm chocolate pie with ice cream 😀
Creative and innovative approach in the use of culinary skills. I highly suggest this place. Ambience is icing on the cake!
Overpriced and bland seafood. Service was pitiful. What a waste in such a pretty area, and with such a pretty interior.
Very nice restaurant. Service was quite good. Food was really good. We shared the scallop fettuccine. But we both had to pick out all the fresh parsley–extremely overpowering.
User reviews. Probably one of the best meals my wife and I have ever eaten. And we try a lot of places, lots of different food and lots of different cities. Had the Ahi tuna, Albacore and porkbelly. Also oysters and foie gras. Everything was perfect…just perfect. Also had one of the best waiters EVER…thanks Stephen for the great meal and service. Atmosphere was also top notch. We’ll be back…a definate must if in Portland.
Awful and over priced! The food was terrible and overly elaborate. I’ve had better seafood at Red Lobster. The crab cakes are heavily breaded with no flavor and what tasted like imitation crab meat. The calamari were bland. The cheese board was expensive and consisted of 3 cheeses 2 of which were very acidic. The wine was mediocre at best. Our bill was $67 for 2 cocktails and 3 appetizers. Never going back worse place we ate at while in Portland! Service was good though wait staff where nice.
Great Lunch!. Had the Steelhead… it was great. Service was superb yet not smothering. The salad had potato crisps which were a fantastic taste experience. This is the second time here and both meals were great. Close to the Museum of Art.
